What are eBooks?
An ebook is a text that can be downloaded and then read on a handheld device (ereader or smartphone) or computer. Unlike reading a website, you don't need a network connection once you have the ebook on your device, so they are great for those places where the Internet isn't available or would be too expensive or slow.Other advantages of the handheld ereaders (like the Kindle, Nook, Kobo, etc) are that their screens are easy to read even in bright sunlight, and the battery life is many times better than smartphones.
